I blew my right hand up with a quarter stick of dynamite when I was nine years old. It took the doctors over 120 stitches and a pin in my ring finger to put it back together. About a year and a half later, I shattered the same wrist in a bike accident. It was a year after that when I began to play bass in a punk band.

Life As a National Guard Bandsman
I have been a member of the Army National Guard Band for 10 years. As a sergeant in the 246th Army Band, I have gotten play in some great venues and play for even greater people.
Capturing the world through a lens is a very different art form than creating music. Both require a good sense of line, timing, and overall vision. I don’t know if I have any of those, but I enjoy going to hard to reach places seeking potentially great shots.
In addition to most of the photography on this website, I also enjoy capturing all kinds of different subject matter whenever I have the chance to get out in the world.
